My body really woke me up 30 minutes before my alarm like we had somewhere important to be.
Ma’am… please relax.
We are a Pre-K teacher about to walk into a room with 37 four and five-year-olds.
THIRTY. SEVEN. 🥴
That’s not a classroom.
That’s a tiny human music festival with snack breaks.
Meanwhile my body sounds like a bag of glow sticks snapping every time I move… and in about an hour I have to walk in like:
“GOOD MORNING FRIENDS!!! 🌞✨”
While internally I’m still buffering like dial-up internet from 1999.
Because those kids walk in with:
100% energy
0% responsibilities
and 37 different stories to tell me at the exact same time.
But somehow by 8:05 AM I’ll be:
opening 42 snacks,
tying 19 shoes,
solving 7 friendship dramas,
and explaining for the 15th time that we do NOT lick our friends.
Pre-K teachers are basically:
running on caffeine, chaos, and pure survival. ☕😂#teacherlife🍎 #preschoolteacherlife #preklife
