Super easy party snack! ✨

These chocolate drizzled rolled wafers are SO easy to prepare. I made these for a woodland themed baby shower. The chocolate drizzle gave the wafers a “birch stick” look to match the theme. These were a hit, and the chocolate drizzle makes them look homemade.

What you need:

Rolled Wafers (Chocolate, Hazelnut, and Vanilla): TJ Maxx, and Ross have these at a discounted price. They can also be found at some grocery stores.

Chocolate melting wafers or chocolate chips ( milk chocolate, and white chocolate)

Instructions:

Get a baking tray and line with parchment paper. Lay out rolled wafers making sure to leave a little space in between them so they don’t stick together.

Melt your chocolate either in a double boiler on the stove or in the microwave. Stir frequently, chocolate burns easily! If microwaving heat in 20 second intervals and stir to make sure the chocolate doesn’t burn.

To drizzle I used a small (sandwich size) plastic ziplock bag as a piping bag. Simply fill the bag with your melted chocolate, twist the top to seal, and cut a small corner off to create a tip for piping. Drizzle chocolate over the top of the rolled wafers, and wait for it to completely set and dry. Then flip over the wafers and drizzle chocolate on the other side. There might be some excess chocolate that hangs off the sides. You can use a knife to carefully go along the side of the wafers to remove the excess chocolate. And you’re all done!

Another thing I adore about this simple, elegant party snack is how versatile they are for presentation. For the baby shower, they were perfect laid out on a platter, mimicking those 'birch sticks.' And the best part? You can totally make these ahead of time! Once the chocolate is completely set, I store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. A quick pro-tip I learned the hard way: when melting chocolate, patience is key! Overheating can cause it to seize up. If you're microwaving, stick to those 20-second intervals and stir, stir, stir.
