Celebrating a baby shower is such a wonderful and emotional experience, especially when you are well into your pregnancy like I was at 31 weeks. It truly feels amazing to have the support and love of family and friends gathered around you. Looking back, I realized how important it is to take the time to appreciate these moments and the people who make them special. One of the highlights of my baby shower was seeing how everyone came together to help set up the decorations and contribute in their unique ways. The joy in the room was contagious, and it made me feel so supported as a mom-to-be. Having a baby shower also helped me prepare mentally and emotionally for the journey ahead of motherhood. I also wanted to share some tips for expecting moms planning their baby showers. First, don’t stress over making everything perfect. The true value is in the presence and support of loved ones. Secondly, consider including fun activities or games related to babies and parenting to keep everyone engaged and create lasting memories. Lastly, keep a record of the gifts and thank your guests personally. It’s a wonderful way to acknowledge their generosity and thoughtfulness. For me, being a #boymom has been an exciting experience full of new surprises and joys, and celebrating this transition with a supportive community made all the difference.
