I was watching Rocket Power today with my husband and it really took me back to a lot of cartoons I had forgotten about. Thinking back some of these cartoons were silly as hell… like Cow and Chicken. Did we ever see their parents face, because I really don’t remember 🤣?

OMG, I totally get what you mean about getting sucked back into 90s cartoons! Just yesterday, I was humming the theme song to Hey Arnold! and it hit me how much these shows shaped our childhoods. It's more than just Rocket Power or Cow and Chicken; there was a whole universe of awesome animation that defined growing up in the 90s. Thinking about Cow and Chicken reminded me of shows with equally quirky humor. Who could forget CatDog? Real Monsters – those characters, like Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm, were both creepy and lovable, right? Every time I see a re-run, I'm transported back to Saturday mornings, thinking about those monsters cartoon 90s moments. But it wasn't all slapstick. Doug taught us about navigating adolescence, friendships, and crushes, making us feel seen and understood through Doug Funnie's journal entries. And The Powerpuff Girls? Talk about empowering! Three little girls saving the world before bedtime. And let's not forget the pure intellectual chaos of Dexter's Laboratory with Dexter and Dee Dee's antics – pure gold! Many of these were quintessential old Nick cartoons or part of Cartoon Network's golden era, cementing their place as 1990s cartoons legends. And the sheer variety! From the hilarious schemes of Ed, Edd n Eddy to the wilderness adventures of The Wild Thornberrys (remember Eliza's ability to talk to animals?!), and the captivating world of Pokémon (I mean, who didn't want to 'catch 'em all' like Ash Ketchum with Pikachu, Charizard, and Squirtle?!). Even the more low-key shows like PB&J Otter or the quirky Rolie Polie Olie hold a special place, making up the fabric of all 90s cartoons we adored. And who could forget the sibling rivalry of Norbert and Daggett from The Angry Beavers? They were just too funny. It's funny how these old cartoons 90s hold up so well. They had unique art styles, memorable characters, and storytelling that just stuck with you. They weren't just entertainment; they were a blueprint for imagination, friendship, and sometimes, just plain silliness. It makes me wonder about all those forgotten 90s cartoons that might pop back into my head next. What's an old cartoon gem you think everyone should revisit from the throwback cartoons era?
I know that with Cow and Chicken’s parents, they only have the bottom half of the body, hence why they use their feet as hands.
