... Read moreStepping into a deeper spiritual journey can feel overwhelming, but it's truly about cultivating consistent habits that help us 'sit on our faith' and allow it to guide our lives. For anyone looking to truly anchor themselves in their beliefs, I’ve found that it's less about grand gestures and more about daily, intentional engagement with God. One of the biggest game-changers for me has been embracing structured devotionals. My 52-Week Guided Devotional, for instance, isn't just a book—it's a journey. Each week, it encourages me to 'READ · REFLECT · REJOICE'. This isn't passive reading; it's an invitation to ponder how scripture applies to my current life, reflect on my actions, and find joy in God's presence. It helps me to process my thoughts and feelings, turning abstract spiritual concepts into tangible daily practices. This consistent engagement is key to truly 'sitting on my faith'—it's about making space for God, not just when things are tough, but every single day. Pairing this with a journal, like 'The Psalmful Journal' (which is similar to a gratitude journal but rooted in biblical principles), has been incredibly powerful. It prompts me to 'PRAY AND GRATITUDE', noting down 'Today's prayer requests' and 'A lesson I learned today'. This practice isn't just about writing; it's about active communication with God and recognizing His hand in my life. It helps me articulate my struggles, celebrate my victories, and see patterns of growth. It’s amazing how clarity comes when I put pen to paper, seeing how my faith is actively guiding my decisions and outlook, even in the smallest moments. The 'MORNING & EVENING DEVOTIONAL' has also become a non-negotiable part of my day. Starting the day with God sets a positive, faith-filled tone, and ending it with reflection helps me process everything through a spiritual lens. It’s like bookending my day with peace and purpose, ensuring that even amidst the chaos, my focus remains on Him. This daily rhythm is crucial for a 'faith guided life' because it means I'm consistently seeking divine perspective before diving into my tasks and reflecting on how I've lived out His principles throughout the day. And of course, there's the Bible itself. My 'SHE READS TRUTH BIBLE' is more than just a book; it's a guide that illuminates scripture in a way that feels relevant and accessible. I also use a Bible App for on-the-go reading. Actively engaging with scripture, not just reading it, is where true transformation happens. It helps me understand God’s character, His promises, and how to apply His wisdom to everyday challenges. This active study forms the bedrock of a truly 'faith guided life', equipping me with divine wisdom for every step. For anyone looking to deepen their spiritual walk, my biggest advice is consistency. Find resources that resonate with you, set aside a specific time each day, and create a sacred space, no matter how small. It’s not about perfection, but about showing up. This journey of 'sitting on my faith' has brought so much peace and clarity, and I truly believe these practices can do the same for you.

A handwritten note on a lined notebook page titled 'DISCERNMENT.' It defines discernment as understanding good/evil and thinking like God, lists Bible verses (Psalm 119:125, Acts 17:11), and explains how to receive it through prayer, Scripture, obedience, and removing judgment. It also provides biblical examples from John, Romans, and Hebrews.
Discernment: Learning to Trust God’s Whisper✨
Discernment isn’t about being suspicious or judgmental, it’s about being aligned. It’s the quiet wisdom God gives us to recognize what’s from Him and what isn’t, even when everything looks good on the surface. Sometimes discernment doesn’t come with loud alarms; it comes as a gentle nudge, a pause
