💗HKxTD Chunky Stacks🩵
My first stacks with a Tokidoki charm I found on Mercari.com.
By the time of this project, I went crazy buying so many bead styles that at first I was overwhelmed with deciding which beads to use. 😵💫 My noggin imagining the limitless possiblilities and alternate universes I could build her. Then I just took a few breaths and let myself intuitively pick the beads out.
The method I use was to string up various colorful beads on 3 different strands of elastic string to hold the charms weight. Then joined the strands by adding a jumbo heart bead in 4 segments. A metal lobster clasp was attached to the bracelet strands and then hooked to the charm's eye screw.
She came out so pretty and ended up going home to a girl from out of state. She was super stoked that she immediately wore it out. Then later she hit me up in a panic when the charm had somehow separated from the bracelet. She found it later and was able to secure it, but the lil engineer in me was determined to improve the way I add charms. The lobster clasp had seemed to be enough but I imagined her having too much fun dancing 🤗🎵. 📝 We needed to anticipate potential arm and hip swaying, twerking, throwin ya hands up! and the shawtiees throwin it round in a circle!💃.
After that, all charms were added directly to the bracelet using only jump rings and the loops were either closed completely or overflushed. This was my go to method for years.
