College Courses Fall 2024🍋

As a human development major, choosing the right courses is pivotal for building a solid educational foundation. In Fall 2024, I’ve enrolled in five thought-provoking classes that blend theory and practical knowledge. 'APSY 333: Childhood Behavioral Disorders' is integral for understanding psychological challenges in children; fulfilling my psychology/sociology elective requirement, it’s essential for my field. 'EPSY 250: Research in Human Development' dives deep into the principles behind human growth, equipping me with research skills and knowledge critical for future studies. This course is mandatory for my major, emphasizing the importance of scientific inquiry into human development. 'Introduction to Educational Psychology' (EPSY 200) allows me to explore the cognitive and emotional processes that underpin learning. This foundational course is essential for grasping more advanced topics in educational psychology. Additionally, I’m excited about 'AENG 121: Reading Literature'. This course fulfills my humanities requirement and promises to enrich my understanding of literature and its relevance in understanding societal values. It has received positive feedback from peers and should complement my major well, enhancing critical thinking and analytical skills. By carefully selecting these courses, I aim to develop a comprehensive perspective on human development. Whether preparing for a career in counseling, education, or research, each of these classes plays a key role in molding my academic and professional aspirations.
