It’s not the press-ons...it's the prep👀

If press-ons weren't your thing before, it probably wasn't the nails.

I can "almost" guarantee this is why they didn't work⬇️

There are 3 common reasons...and you might be dealing with more than one.

1. You skipped using 100% Acetone in your nail prep

2. When applying the glue- you pressed super hard & didn't hold for atleast 90 seconds.

3. You were using poor quality press-ons that snagged your hair and bend easily.

Having tried press-on nails myself, I can relate to the frustration when they don't last as long as expected. One key factor I learned is the importance of proper nail prep — using 100% acetone to thoroughly remove any oils or residues really makes a difference. Without this step, even the best press-ons struggle to stay put. Another tip from my experience is about how you apply the glue. I used to press hard but not hold the nails firmly for the recommended time. Now, I make sure to hold each nail in place for at least 90 seconds to let the glue set properly, which prevents lifting and peeling. Also, investing in good-quality press-on nail sets is a game changer. Cheap sets tend to flex too much and snag on hair or fabrics, reducing wear time. Quality sets have a better fit and finish, making them both comfortable and long-lasting. Lastly, I found that proper removal methods—like soaking in acetone and gentle lifting—help keep my natural nails healthy, so I can enjoy press-ons repeatedly without damage. Incorporating these simple prep and application tricks transformed my press-on nail experience, allowing me to enjoy stylish nails for up to two weeks without issues. If you're struggling with your press-ons, these steps might just solve the problem and save you time and money on replacements.
