HOMEMADE GINGER SHOTS
Ginger and turmeric are two of nature's most potent superfoods with plenty of immune-building, anti-inflammatory, and anti-oxidant benefits!
🍋MAKES ABOUT 6 GINGER SHOTS🍊
All you need:
1. Juicer/ Blender
2. 1-2 Full Oranges
3. 2-3 Full Lemons depending how citrusy you prefer it.
✨personally my favorite way is 1 full orange and 3 full lemons. But if it’s too strong for you do 2 oranges and 2 lemons.✨
5. 1/2 Pound Fresh Ginger
6. 1 Medium Root of Turmeric
7. 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
8. 1/4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
9. 1/2 Cup of Water or Coconut Water
INSTRUCTIONS (JUICER)
🍊Wash all of the produce. Cut off the peel from the orange and lemon and chop up the ginger and turmeric (no need to peel it).
🍊 If have a juicer, simply place all of the ingredients in the juicer and juice them.
🍊 Pour the ginger shots into small glass bottles, or transfer to a larger bottle and then pour into shot-sized glasses when you're ready to enjoy them!
INSTRUCTIONS (BLENDER
🍋 Wash all of the produce. Cut off the peel from the orange and lemon and chop up the ginger and turmeric (no need to peel it).
🍋 If you do not have a juicer, add the orange, lemon, ginger, turmeric, cayenne, black pepper, and coconut water to a blender and blend them all together.
🍋 Once you've blended everything, pour the mixture over a sieve/ strainer to separate out the pulp.
🍋 Pour the ginger shots into small glass bottles, or transfer to a larger bottle and then pour into shot-sized glasses when you're ready to enjoy them!
