Had a mini heart attack at first when I saw the ct and ultrasound results 🥲 but the doctor reassured me it’s nothing to worry about 🙃 good to see most of my numbers are within range though! Would you do this exam?
After going through a comprehensive full body medical exam in Korea, I wanted to share some insights that might help others considering the same. I was initially quite anxious when the CT scan and ultrasound results showed some abnormalities. However, the doctors reassured me that most findings were benign and within normal limits. One notable discovery was a small simple cyst in my right breast, which is actually common and not typically cause for concern, but they advised a follow-up in a year just to keep an eye on it. The entire exam covered a wide range of tests including blood work to check liver and kidney function, cardiovascular risk markers, tumor markers, a thyroid panel, and imaging tests such as abdomen, chest CT, and multiple ultrasounds (thyroid, breast, pelvic). I especially appreciated the inclusion of a hearing test and an eye exam to cover sensory health as well. What stood out to me was how thorough and professional the facility was — unlike a typical hospital environment, it felt more like a spa with attentive staff, which made the experience less stressful. The exam package I took cost around 550,000 KRW (roughly 550 CAD), which I considered a worthy investment for my peace of mind. From a personal perspective, I would recommend anyone curious or concerned about their health to consider this type of full body screening, especially if you’re living or traveling in Korea where such comprehensive packages are available. Knowing that most of my health numbers were within recommended ranges was genuinely reassuring. Of course, if any suspicious findings appear, it’s crucial to consult your healthcare provider promptly. If you’re thinking about doing a full body health check, prepare yourself for a range of tests, some of which might catch you off guard initially but can ultimately offer valuable information about your health status. Also, make sure to follow up on any recommended rechecks, like the breast cyst follow-up I scheduled, to maintain long-term health and catch any changes early. Have you ever had a similar comprehensive exam or found unexpected results? Sharing experiences can be helpful for others navigating their health journeys!
