... Read moreSharing my experience tracking daily expenses as a couple really opened my eyes to how much small purchases can add up in a day—and how budgeting helps keep things under control. One of the biggest investments we made was in personal training sessions, costing $62.50 each time. Going twice a week, we've found it to be a consistent and enjoyable way to stay fit, especially mixing indoor gym workouts with outdoor sessions now that the weather is warmer. If you’re considering something similar, it’s a great motivation boost and keeps routines fresh. Coffee is another indulgence that adds up quickly—I learned to appreciate getting an iced latte for $6.46 while running errands. Grocery shopping at specialty stores, such as Japanese markets for unique items like natto, can be more costly but worth it for quality and authenticity. Unexpected expenses like new sneakers ($162.40) or a car wash ($18.90) remind me that everyday costs aren’t just about essentials but also maintenance and occasional treats. We also had a memorable evening at a White Caps game, proving that investing in experiences as a couple enriches our lifestyle. Tracking where money goes each day helped us identify spending habits and encouraged better planning. The approach isn’t about restricting ourselves but making well-informed choices reflective of our priorities. For anyone managing finances together, sharing transparency like this can strengthen your relationship and financial health alike.

Recovering from Shoulder Surgery
Soo I surgery back in December. A little backstory, I’ve had pain in my shoulder for about 6-7 years and no one knew what caused it. After many trips to the doctor, I went to a surgeon and we talked about what we could do. Long story short, apparently my shoulder was ✨loose✨ and messed up lolol.
