Sharing some of my favourite bites things I’ve eaten lately that’s new to me :) #vancouver #vancouverfood
Trying new food spots in Vancouver has always been exciting for me, and recently, I found some standout dishes worth sharing. First, Goldles donuts quickly became a favorite. Their softness and light sweetness are perfect for a treat that doesn’t overwhelm your palate. The pistachio cream and vanilla glaze flavors were particularly memorable — they strike a great balance between rich and subtle. Then I headed over to Ramen Danbo, where the new seasonal tomato broth ramen is a game changer. It’s a refreshing twist on traditional ramen broth, tangy yet comforting, which makes it ideal for colder days or whenever you want something soothing yet different. The layers of flavor in that bowl really showcase the chef’s creativity. For those who love authentic Chinese cuisine, Blooming Spice Fish House is a gem. They specialize in sauerkraut fish, which is a dish not everyone is familiar with, but it’s rich in flavor and has wonderful textures. I visited with my mom who could attest to its authenticity and appreciated the nostalgic feel of traditional Chinese cooking. Must-try dishes there include the爆香åœç„¶å¹²é”…王 (spiced dry pot king), garlic vermicelli scallops with shrimp, and the lychee kung pao chicken. Aside from the delicious food, the experience of exploring these eateries added a unique dimension to my Vancouver food adventures. Whether you’re into fusion sweets or hearty Asian meals, Vancouver’s diverse culinary scene offers something new to delight your taste buds. Next time you're looking for fresh meal inspiration, consider these picks — they bring a blend of comfort, novelty, and cultural authenticity to the table.
