different whites???

My child handed me her crayons to color. Was there a color change i wasnt aware of?? My mom got these for her for Christmas. She got them in Dollar Tree at the same time Late November/Early December.

yall! i posted on Threads and i posted a video of me using the "white". I'd post it but idk what happened to the video 😭 but it's ACTUALLY white. idk I'm confused. maybe oxidation or protection layer. it's happened to others as well.
