It's a small, yet powerful ritual that provides comfort and a way to express love for people who left before I could fully show them how proud I am. Grief is not a linear process, and healing doesn't mean forgetting. Instead, it means learning how to carry the memories and love forward with acceptance. Many find solace in journaling or sharing their feelings with others who understand, while others turn to creative outlets like poetry or art. What matters most is giving yourself permission to feel and to heal at your own pace. In my journey, embracing the emotions linked to my mother's loss helped me find strength. Moments of raw sadness were balanced by gratitude for the time we had, reinforcing the importance of cherishing loved ones while they are still with us. This reflection not only honors their memory but also enriches our capacity to live fully despite grief.
