I finally updated my phone to IOS18 (don’t judge me plssss i didn’t have any storage 😭).
But since I updated, I felt the need to give my phone an ✨UPGRADE✨.
So I spent waaaay too many hours on pinterest trying to find the vibe and aesthetic for my phone & this is what I created 🥰
I loved implementing affirmations throughout and I also created my own vision board on pinterest using there collage feature. My vision board for 2025 is on the last page so I can always see it when i’m on my phone.

... Read moreOkay, so you've seen my new iOS 18 aesthetic layout and are wondering how to get started creating your own customized iPhone home screen? It's easier than you think, and the best part is, you can achieve a truly stunning aesthetic without spending a single penny! I'm going to spill all my secrets on how I used free apps to transform my phone.
First up, let's talk about Widgetsmith – it's a game-changer for aesthetic widgets. To create those gorgeous photo widgets you see on my screen, first, download Widgetsmith. Open the app, choose a widget size (small, medium, or large), and tap on it. Then, select 'Photo' or 'Custom Text' under 'Style'. For photos, I usually browse Pinterest for 'iPhone aesthetic' or 'leopard aesthetic widget' to find wallpapers and images that match my vibe. Once you have your image, simply select it from your camera roll. After saving your widget, long-press on your iPhone home screen, tap the '+' in the top left, search for Widgetsmith, and add your newly created widget. You can also use Color Widgets for pre-designed, colorful options that add a different flair to your layout, especially great for battery or calendar displays. This is how I got my 'Good Afternoon' widget with the sunset info!
Next, let's dive into iPhone Shortcuts aesthetic – this is how you get those custom app icons. This process might seem a little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's super satisfying! Open the Shortcuts app, tap the '+' in the top right to create a new shortcut. Add an action, search for 'Open App', and select the app you want to customize (like Messages). Then, tap the tiny arrow next to 'Open App', choose 'Add to Home Screen'. Here, you can rename the app to whatever you like and, most importantly, tap the icon to choose a custom photo from your gallery. Again, Pinterest is your best friend for finding aesthetic icon packs or specific images like the highlighted Messages app icon you might have seen in my IPHONE INSPO. It's totally free to change all your icons and give your phone a cohesive look.
For those wondering about 'find this wallpaper' or specifically the 'leopard aesthetic widget', I found my lock screen's leopard print background and other aesthetic elements on Pinterest. Search terms like 'leopard aesthetic wallpaper' or 'iPhone aesthetic wallpapers' usually yield amazing results. You can then use these images within Widgetsmith to create custom photo widgets that perfectly match your theme. The beauty of these free tools is that you can continually update your layout to fit your mood or current aesthetic.
While my article focuses on home screen aesthetics, don't forget about making your iPhone Notes aesthetic! While the Notes app itself doesn't offer extensive customization, you can use emojis, bold/italic text, and even strategic use of spaces and bullet points to make your lists and thoughts visually appealing. Organizing your notes into folders also helps maintain a clean, aesthetic look overall.
And finally, my favorite part: the VISION BOARD. Using Widgetsmith, I created a large widget with a collage of images and text representing my goals for 2025. It's so motivating to have my vision board right on my home screen every day. It's a constant reminder of what I'm working towards. Remember, the goal is to personalize your phone to truly reflect you and your aspirations. It's all about making your phone a source of inspiration, and with these free apps, it's totally achievable!
