... Read moreLearning a new language like Japanese is definitely a rewarding yet challenging experience. Living in Tokyo for over two years has given me plenty of immersive opportunities, but I still feel the embarrassment of not being fully fluent. What helps me stay motivated is sharing this progress publicly and setting goals like filming GRWM (Get Ready With Me) videos to showcase both my makeup routine and some Japanese practice. From my experience, consistency is key. Even if you study abroad, as I did at Keio University for a year, real fluency takes time and ongoing effort. It’s normal to get compliments like "Your Japanese is so good," even if you don’t yet feel confident. I’ve also realized it’s important to embrace your weaknesses, whether that’s specific vocabulary or speaking fluidly, and to keep pushing forward without giving up. Using tools like highlighters for notes, engaging with native speakers, and practicing daily have been crucial. Another tip is to find communities of fellow language learners—sharing struggles and tips builds encouragement. This series is my way of holding myself accountable and inspiring others who are also learning languages to join in and keep improving together. If you’re learning Japanese or any other language, I’d love to hear about your journey too! Sharing our experiences can make the process easier and more enjoyable. Let’s motivate each other and celebrate every step toward fluency.

Boox Palma E Reader
I can’t make up my mind with which e reader device to pick, right now I’m leaning towards Boox Palma because it’s the size of my phone and I’m mostly going to use it more than anything I have (my phone, iPad, tablet) it’s either a boox Palma or a kindle paperwhite

Student; Notion or Google Sheets?
📊 If it’s not organized, it’s not getting done. I built a whole system in Notion to track my classes, apps, MCAT, and even my habits… and honestly? It changed everything. Google Sheets helps me plan my week by energy, not guilt. 💡 Use templates to save time 💡 Add emojis for quick scanning 💡 Al
