Let's draw. I'll be good at it.
An abstract artist once joked to me:
"You want to splash any color, splash it with your emotions."
Listen and laugh. It's too easy, isn't it?
But honestly, many of us don't dare to splash a drop, because there are expectations in our hearts.
"I want the picture to look good."
"Want it like in a cartoon"
"Want to draw and the audience"
But you know, what you think and what you see does not necessarily match.
And that's the best place to start.
If you feel like "there's no basis yet,"
But I want to start drawing cartoons. Try this.
1. Set goals first
Why do you want to draw? For fun, want to have your own character, or want to be a professional painter.
The goal will help get us on the right track.
2. Chill basic training
Let's start with the line, the line, the circle, the curve.
And then with simple shapes like circles, squares, cylinders.
You can draw from the real thing around you, like a glass of water, a milk box, a snack you like to eat.
3. Draw simple cartoon characters
Let's start with the minimalist, round head, big eyes, simple shapes.
Look at the cartoons we like and try to draw them. Don't be afraid of "copying" because at the beginning we were practicing "observing."
4. Draw every day. A little day is enough.
A picture is still good. Draw anything, character, gesture, food, or toy.
Draw often, hands softer, crafts come unwittingly.
5. Draw your own story
Let's tell the story of life through images. Don't be exact. Don't be accurate. Just tell it to others.
It's all serious or mano. It's just "our story."
Everyone can draw.
No need to wait well before drawing.

เมืองเชียงรายเป็นอีกหนึ่งจังหวัดที่มีแรงบันดาลใจทางศิลปะมากมาย เมื่อคุณเริ่มฝึกวาดภาพ ลองออกไปสัมผัสบรรยากาศท้องถิ่นของเชียงรายเพื่อเก็บรายละเอียดธรรมชาติและวัฒนธรรมเข้ามาเป็นแรงบันดาลใจ หลายครั้งที่ผมไปเดินเล่นในเมืองเชียงราย ผมจะหยิบสมุดวาดภาพออกมาและร่างภาพสถานที่ต่าง ๆ เช่น หอนาฬิกาทองอร่าม หรือบ้านเรือนที่มีสถาปัตยกรรมเป็นเอกลักษณ์ เป็นวิธีที่ช่วยให้ผมฝึกสังเกตและพัฒนาฝีมืออย่างชิล ๆ และสนุกสนานไปพร้อมกัน นอกจากนี้ การวาดภาพแวดล้อมรอบตัวจากสถานที่จริงช่วยให้เราเข้าใจรูปทรงและแสงเงามากขึ้น การใช้เวลาวาดสกีตช์สถานที่ที่เดินผ่านในเชียงรายวันละนิด จึงเป็นอีกเทคนิคที่อยากแนะนำสำหรับผู้เริ่มต้น ไม่ต้องกังวลเรื่องผลงานสมบูรณ์แบบ เพราะการลงมือทำจะพาเราเก่งได้เองในระยะยาว ผมอยากให้ทุกคนลองวาดภาพเล่าเรื่องชีวิตประจำวัน หรือสิ่งที่ชอบในเชียงราย เช่น ตลาดของกิน หรือกิจกรรมหน้าผา นอกจากจะเป็นการฝึกทักษะแล้วยังทำให้วาดรูปมีความหมายมากขึ้น และเป็นการบันทึกความทรงจำในรูปแบบศิลปะที่สนุกและมีเอกลักษณ์ในแบบของตัวเอง
