Don’t give up on meditation!

I’ve had so many people say to me that they “can’t”meditate because they’re “bad” at it! “My mind just won’t be quiet!” Guess what? You noticing that your mind is thinking…that’s the first step to meditation 🫨 give yourself some grace! You just did a meditative “rep” 😂 it’s absolutely a muscle that you have to work out! Every time you notice your mind has wandered- lovingly say to yourself something like “hmm, there goes my creative mind again!” And refocus on your breathing or the meditation you’re listening to❤️

For me, sitting quietly in lotus for indefinite amounts of time is truly admirable, but just not what works best for my brain in this stage of my life. I need to move, I need to be working with my hands! It’s about finding what works for you, what helps take your focus in a positive and healthy way. Don’t compare your meditation practice to anyone else’s because it is unique to each person! You got this, let’s get those happy brain chemicals! 💪
