เวลาเจอข่าวหรือเคสใกล้ตัว “ประกันไม่จ่าย” หลายคนจะรู้สึกว่าบริษัทประกันหาเหตุไม่จ่าย แต่จากประสบการณ์ที่เคยช่วยดูเอกสารให้คนรู้จัก ส่วนใหญ่พลาดกันที่ “เงื่อนไข” และ “หลักฐาน” มากกว่าค่ะ เลยอยากเติมสิ่งที่ทำได้จริง เพื่อให้เคลมลื่นขึ้นและลดโอกาสโดนปฏิเสธ 1) เช็กสถานะกรมธรรม์ก่อนเกิดเหตุเสมอ หลายคนคิดว่าจ่ายมาหลายงวดแล้วต้องคุ้มครองแน่นอน แต่จริงๆ ถ้าขาดชำระเกินกำหนดจนกรมธรรม์สิ้นผล ความคุ้มครองอาจหยุดทันที วิธีง่ายๆ คือ - ตั้งเตือนจ่ายเบี้ย/ตัดบัตรอัตโนมัติ และเช็กว่าสำเร็จจริง - เก็บใบเสร็จ/สลิปทุกครั้ง (ถ้าเป็น e-receipt ก็เซฟไว้) - ถ้าเริ่มตึงมือ ให้โทรถามบริษัทเรื่อง “ผ่อนผัน” หรือทางเลือก เช่น ใช้มูลค่าเงินสด/เวนคืนบางส่วน (ถ้ากรมธรรม์มี) 2) ตอนสมัคร “แถลงให้ครบ” แล้วขอสำเนาใบคำขอไว้เอง สาเหตุใหญ่ของเคลมไม่ผ่านคือปกปิด/แถลงเท็จ เช่น อายุ อาชีพ โรคประจำตัว ประวัติการรักษา หรือพฤติกรรมเสี่ยง บางคนไม่ได้ตั้งใจโกหก แค่ “ลืม” หรือคิดว่าไม่สำคัญ แต่พอเคลม บริษัทจะตรวจย้อนหลังได้ค่ะ ทริคของเรา: - ตอบตามจริงทุกข้อ แม้เคยตรวจเจอ/เคยรักษามานานแล้ว - ถ้ามีโรค/เคยผ่าตัด ให้แนบเอกสารประกอบตั้งแต่สมัคร (ถ้าตัวแทนแนะนำ) - ขอรูป/สำเนาใบคำขอเอาประกันที่มีคำตอบของเราเก็บไว้ ป้องกันการกรอกผิดพลาด 3) ยื่นเคลมให้ “เอกสารครบ” ตั้งแต่รอบแรก เคลมนานมากๆ มักเกิดจากเอกสารขาด ทำให้ต้องส่งเพิ่มหลายรอบ ลองเตรียมตามนี้ (อาจต่างกันตามบริษัท/แบบประกัน): - แบบฟอร์มเรียกร้องค่าสินไหม (กรอกครบ ลายเซ็นตรง) - สำเนาบัตรประชาชน/ทะเบียนบ้านผู้เอาประกันและผู้รับผลประโยชน์ - หนังสือรับรองการเสียชีวิต/ใบมรณบัตร (กรณีเสียชีวิต) - ใบรับรองแพทย์/เวชระเบียน/สรุปการรักษา - เลขบัญชี/หน้าสมุดบัญชีสำหรับรับเงิน ถ้าเคสเกี่ยวกับอุบัติเหตุหรือคดี อาจต้องมีบันทึกประจำวัน/รายงานตำรวจเพิ่มด้วย 4) ระวังจุดเสี่ยงที่ทำให้ “เข้าข้อยกเว้น” ประเด็นที่หลายคนไม่อ่านคือข้อยกเว้น เช่น กรณีฆ่าตัวตายในปีแรกตามเงื่อนไขของสัญญา หรือกรณีผู้รับผลประโยชน์มีส่วนทำให้เสียชีวิตโดยเจตนา แบบนี้ต่อให้ส่งเอกสารครบก็มีโอกาสไม่จ่ายตามสัญญาได้ค่ะ ทางที่ดีคืออ่านหัวข้อ “ข้อยกเว้น” และ “ระยะเวลารอคอย” ให้เข้าใจตั้งแต่วันซื้อ 5) ถ้าถูกปฏิเสธการจ่าย อย่าเพิ่งยอมแพ้แบบงงๆ สิ่งที่ควรทำคือขอ “หนังสือชี้แจงเหตุผลการปฏิเสธ” เป็นลายลักษณ์อักษร แล้วเช็กว่าเกิดจากเอกสารไม่ครบ, กรมธรรม์สิ้นผล, หรือเข้าข้อยกเว้นจริง ถ้าคิดว่าไม่ถูกต้อง ค่อยรวบรวมหลักฐานเพื่ออุทธรณ์ตามขั้นตอนของบริษัท สรุปสั้นๆ จากคำว่า “ประกันไม่จ่าย” ที่คนค้นหากันบ่อย: ส่วนมากป้องกันได้ด้วยการแถลงความจริงตั้งแต่สมัคร จ่ายเบี้ยตรงเวลา และเตรียมเอกสารให้ครบตั้งแต่ครั้งแรกค่ะ
