At home coffee to save money in college

Hey sweeties!

As a broke and caffeine addicted college student, I have had to adapt to the expensive prices of coffee at starbucks. I was obsessed with the caramel macchiato at Starbucks and decided to learn how to make it at home!

I wanted to make the starbucks macchiato healthier so I replaced the regular almond milk I use for core power milk. I also replaced the caramel sauce with sugar free caramel syrup.

This contains 5 grams of sugar with 26 grams of protein compared to starbucks 24 grams of sugar and 7 grams of protein!

Choosing sugar-free syrups is another excellent way to cut down on empty sugars without losing the flavor you crave. Additionally, utilizing an espresso machine can enhance the coffee-making experience at home. Freshly ground coffee beans can significantly improve the quality of your drink, giving it that authentic café taste. The aromatic process of brewing can also be rewarding, creating an inviting atmosphere in your home.
