ถ้ามาพูดถึงร้านอาหารปักษ์ใต้แท้ในกรุงเทพฯ ร้านจันทร์หอมตอบโจทย์ได้ดีมาก นอกจากรสชาติที่จัดจ้านแบบดั้งเดิมแล้ว ทุกครั้งที่ไปทานจะรู้สึกว่าวัตถุดิบที่ใช้สดมาก โดยเฉพาะเมนูอาหารทะเลที่ร้านเน้นส่งตรงจากทะเล ทำให้เนื้อกุ้งสดหวานและนุ่ม น้ำพริกกุ้งสด (หรือที่คนใต้อาจเรียกกันว่าน้ำชุบหยำ) เป็นเมนูที่ผมชอบมาก เพราะเค้าขยำเครื่องแน่นๆ รสชาติเข้มข้น เปรี้ยว เค็ม เผ็ด มีความหวานจากเนื้อกุ้งธรรมชาติ กินคู่กับหมูย่างมะนาวหรือหมูทอดกะปิที่ร้านนี่ลงตัวสุดๆ แกงส้มปลากระบอกที่นี่ถือว่าทำออกมาได้อย่างถูกต้องตามต้นตำรับ ทางร้านจะปรุงน้ำแกงจนข้นเข้มข้น มีผักสดและหลากหลายมาเติมเต็มรสชาติ เสิร์ฟพร้อมข้าวสวยร้อนๆ จนต้องสั่งเพิ่มตลอด นอกจากนั้นเมนูคั่วกลิ้งก็เป็นอีกจานที่ใครกินแล้วต้องติดใจ เพราะรสชาติเผ็ดร้อนถึงใจสมกับความเป็นอาหารใต้แท้ๆ บรรยากาศที่ร้านจันทร์หอมเหมาะสำหรับการพาครอบครัวหรือเพื่อนฝูงมาทานอาหารด้วยกัน ที่นั่งอาจจะมีจำกัดช่วงวันหยุด แนะนำให้โทรจองโต๊ะก่อนเพื่อความสะดวก ไม่ต้องรอคิวนานและได้ที่นั่งสบายๆ นอกจากนี้ ราคาอาหารอยู่ในช่วง 100-250 บาทเท่านั้น ถือว่าคุ้มค่าเมื่อเทียบกับคุณภาพและปริมาณที่ได้รับ โดยรวมแล้ว ร้านจันทร์หอมให้ประสบการณ์อาหารใต้แท้ที่ครบเครื่องและสดใหม่ ทุกครั้งที่ได้ไปทานผมรู้สึกเหมือนย้อนกลับไปถึงบ้านในภาคใต้ด้วยกลิ่นรสที่คุ้นเคยและถูกใจสุดๆ เพื่อนๆ คนไหนที่ชอบอาหารใต้หรือกำลังหาเมนูรสจัดๆ แนะนำให้ลองร้านนี้รับรองไม่ผิดหวังแน่นอน!
