Today’s protein haul
I’ve never tried the donuts, cinnamon bun or pop tart.
I’ve tried the barebells creamy crisp recently and it was quite good!
I struggle with the texture and after taste of a lot of protein bars. I think the texture is what bothers me the most so I’m always wanting to try new ways to get my protein in!
I will do my best to update with each one as I try them!

If you're curious about the Barebells protein bars like the cinnamon bun flavor I mentioned, I completely understand the challenge of finding a protein snack that satisfies both in texture and taste. Many protein bars can have a gritty texture or artificial aftertaste that puts you off. What I appreciate about Barebells is that their bars are soft and creamy, making them easy to enjoy without that unpleasant chewiness. From their product details, Barebells bars like the creamy crisp and caramel choco flavor typically offer around 16 to 20 grams of protein per bar, with no added sugar, which is a big plus for anyone watching their sugar intake. These bars also come in interesting flavors inspired by treats like cinnamon buns and donuts, so you get a sweet experience without feeling like you’re indulging too much. I also pay attention to nutritional content—not just protein but calories and fats. Barebells bars seem to strike a balance, providing enough protein to support fitness goals without excess calories. However, I make sure not to rely solely on bars as my nutrition source but rather as a convenient protein boost during busy days. If you’re exploring protein snack options like me, trying a variety of flavors can be fun. I’m planning to taste test more Barebells flavors and even some others that mimic popular sweets but with healthier profiles. Keep an eye out for updates because texture and aftertaste matter a lot, and it’s exciting to find products that get it right. What are your go-to protein bars or snacks? Sharing your favorites might help me discover new options too!
