The general exhibition at moca in Los Angeles talks about people and their lives. It feels like every endeavor a discovery. The exhibition chastises Israel Palestine conflicts, wars and political events through numerous photograph, prints and videos. It sets China apart from all these war filled images hanging out in the background and at the back. It points out China has become self satisfied with their recent activities it no longer pretends to be a neighbour who is peaceful. The exhibition showcases varieties of works. They all become the mediator between China and other countries. Etc.

... Read moreVisiting the MOCA exhibition truly opened my eyes to how contemporary art can serve as a mirror for global political tensions and social change. The curation brilliantly juxtaposes imagery of the Israel-Palestine conflict and other world wars with China’s distinct posture, emphasizing its evolving international identity. What struck me most was how the artworks don’t just document events but provoke deeper reflection on responsibility and coexistence. The photographs and videos convey raw emotions and narratives usually absent from mainstream discourse, making the complex conflicts more relatable and urgent. I found that understanding China’s role beyond being a peaceful neighbor, as portrayed in the exhibit, challenges many preconceived notions influenced by propaganda or news biases. It made me think about the subtle ways nations assert power and the diplomatic nuances that art can reveal better than traditional media. What’s more, the exhibition’s choice to place China’s images at the back subtly suggests how perspectives and histories are layered and sometimes obscured, inviting visitors to explore these geopolitical dynamics themselves. The mix of prints, videos, and photographs created a multi-sensory experience—each medium adding depth to the narrative of war, peace, and international relations. Personally, this exhibit inspired me to follow international news with a more critical and empathetic eye, acknowledging the human stories behind headlines. For artists and viewers alike, it underscores how creative expression can influence public understanding and policy discourse. The MOCA show is a compelling example of art as an active mediator in the global conversation, making it a must-see for anyone interested in politics, social justice, or contemporary culture.

Real hair talk: I’ve used @Prose in the past and I’m going back to it 🥰💜 Alternating between a nourishing & strengthening shampoo/conditioner did not work for me. I will continue to use a strengthening product monthly instead and use this formula Prose created for me every time I wash my hair!

Coming Soon First Beauty Review: Prose
Prose hair products are the worth the hype? I only purchased this because it was 50% do I think I will ever pay the full price of these products? Absolutely not. They are small bottles and the price is ridiculous. If I love the product will I use other people’s emails to still get the 50%! Absol
