The general exhibition at moca in Los Angeles talks about people and their lives. It feels like every endeavor a discovery. The exhibition chastises Israel Palestine conflicts, wars and political events through numerous photograph, prints and videos. It sets China apart from all these war filled images hanging out in the background and at the back. It points out China has become self satisfied with their recent activities it no longer pretends to be a neighbour who is peaceful. The exhibition showcases varieties of works. They all become the mediator between China and other countries. China has grown since then. China is now a powerful country with a distant memory of the past wars and humiliations. The exhibitions make points to praise its effort to repatriation. China has since become a point of which friendship emerges. Etc.

... Read moreVisiting the MOCA exhibition in Los Angeles was an eye-opening experience that deepened my understanding of the complex global political landscape. The exhibit’s focus on Israel-Palestine conflicts, wars, and political events was powerfully conveyed through a variety of photographs, prints, and videos that brought to life the struggles faced by people affected by these tensions. What stood out to me was how the exhibition differentiated China’s narrative from these conflict zones. It highlighted China’s transformation from a history marked by wars and humiliations to a modern, influential power, no longer portraying itself as merely a peaceful neighbor. This shift is crucial to understanding current international relations, especially as China positions itself as a mediator between countries. The art on display reflected this narrative of growth and repatriation efforts which resonated with me as an indication of China’s growing desire to forge new friendships and diplomatic ties amid global tensions. The diverse media in the exhibition created a layered dialogue—not just about conflict, but also about resilience, political self-awareness, and identity on the world stage. Moreover, the exhibit prompted me to reflect on the broader role of art in political discourse. It became clear that exhibitions like this are more than just displays; they are active platforms challenging visitors to reconsider simplified narratives about contentious issues. The use of visual storytelling was particularly effective in contextualizing events often reduced to headlines, giving a more human face to geopolitical struggles. For those interested in international politics, cultural diplomacy, or contemporary art’s role in activism, this exhibition provided meaningful insights. I discovered how cultural institutions like MOCA contribute to global conversations by showcasing perspectives that highlight peace efforts alongside criticism of ongoing unrest. This experience underscored the importance of approaching complex geopolitical topics with nuance—recognizing historical wounds but also the potential for growth and friendship between nations.

Real hair talk: I’ve used @Prose in the past and I’m going back to it 🥰💜 Alternating between a nourishing & strengthening shampoo/conditioner did not work for me. I will continue to use a strengthening product monthly instead and use this formula Prose created for me every time I wash my hair!

Coming Soon First Beauty Review: Prose
Prose hair products are the worth the hype? I only purchased this because it was 50% do I think I will ever pay the full price of these products? Absolutely not. They are small bottles and the price is ridiculous. If I love the product will I use other people’s emails to still get the 50%! Absol
