The exhibitions at LACMA in Los Angeles showed the brute force of animals. It takes people through ages of different artworks. These exhibitions criticize Israel Palestine conflicts, wars and other political events. It views China as an adversary to the west carrying large amounts of arsenals for attacks. The recent China- Taiwan conflicts showed that people are tired of China’s dominion in the supply chain area. The idea that China will give back a share of the markets has made people anxious about wars. The exhibitions at a joint gallery of the broad and Lacma reveals the same type of sentiments about China and the rest of the world. It calls out China on its abysmal rights records. The paintings and sculptures communicate a deep desire for China-Taiwan relationships to transition. The video the deer of nine lives claims part of this China angst through performative gestures on the screen. The exhibitions look at China as if from a third person pov. It makes China a country of household subject. China’s manoeuvre in Taiwan straight has angered many people. China doesn’t seem to mind multiple narratives emerged in the events of these coercions. In 2017 I have gone back to China briefly visiting my father and mother. My dad was sick with cancer. He also got broken legs. China’s healthcare system has not treated him well. He passed away in 2017 after a long complicated illness. This reflects China’s corrupt and broken system desperate for a change in terms of its political makeup and systems. The exhibition displayed God and God like people in order to educate people about healthcare in countries like China filled at the every rank with corrupted/corrupt people and bureaucrats. China’s influence has made countries like Russia, US and UK look especially quaint. The exhibition selected works from contemporary portraits to abstract art in order to depict a China that’s constantly renewing itself through its image productions. There were a part of exhibitions devoted to cars and car culture in Los Angeles. It primarily emphasizes how China has come through various revolutions to be on top of things. Since 2019 coronavirus pandemic the ev and electric cars have become the forefront of the china’s economic drivers. It made China the support and the backup of the oil economy and vehicle cultures. China’s recent activities such as Taiwan manoeuvre, has made me think people were bullying me and other people when they were/are not. It’s disturbing how close China seems to be a backwards country. Is it intentional? Was it an act to counter western narratives of sick Chinese people? China’s electric cars fervor resembles the California, us Los Angeles groceries chain erewhon which was so successful it pumps out cups after cups of smoothies injecting boosters and peptides in the drinks. It makes people uncomfortable and weird out because China is usually a country famed for propagandas. The recent statistics showed china’s economy is making its mainland students in Hong Kong worried. They are worried that’s an illusion, China’s prosperous picture. They want a life in Hong Kong, the financial capital in Asia. It has torn them apart about moving back to China, when everybody knows job opportunities probably are scarce and the cultural gap is just too great. The recent campaigns and elections happening around the world often taught people about China: China is a gigantic country of billions people. China’s current labour shortage proves to be short changed. The conditions in China for works have become harsh and unreliable. Could these mainland students stay? No one knows for sure. China has become an ever large symbol of unity for them, who are alone and lonely in Hong Kong, and all sorts of places in the world. Imagining the futures has made the roads to success filled with barbs, china’s economic development and their Chinese identities. How do you resolve an at least 76 years old question about living outside of China, since the communist party was in power, striving if needs to be? In 2020 the noises about Hong Kong people having advantage gaining a British passport and living space in UK has gotten China agitated. China arrested many people and threatened diplomatic rudeness with its embassy in UK. People have since gotten fearful. The exhibitions gave an all around look at this identity meshing events in China and all around the world. China has looked rather colorful in its depiction and portrayal of race and gender issues.
