The recent news about china often pivots from the old views of china as a weak trade partner to the west. This has incentivized the exhibitions to become friendly with China. China is an ever contentious subject in the public. The video showed people walking about in the subway stations. This informs people about the cultural habits of people in china - how they recognize surveillance system installed in place. China has made people worry about their personal safety. Etc.
