The exhibition the many lives of Nakagin capsule tower and other exhibitions in MoMA brings a delicate texture to the world of urban environments, architecture, people’s movements and vehicles. It criticizes Israel Palestine conflicts, wars and other political events through videos and photography documenting capsule towers. It puts China on the social maps of political interests through its use of lens of multiculturalism. China is a country that often inspires controversy in the west due to its human rights records, environment disruption and ignorance of poverty/child poverty. The exhibitions primarily focused on housing problems and blamed China on its various political ills causing such controversies. China’s endeavors are often confronted with protests. Etc.
