Freedom from Rejection & Abandonment wounds

2/9 Edited to

... Read moreDealing with rejection and abandonment can leave deep emotional scars, but through spiritual prayer and intentional faith practices, healing becomes possible. I’ve found that daily affirmations grounded in scripture, like Psalm 27:10, help rewire my mindset from feelings of unworthiness to acceptance and belonging. When I feel insecure or anxious, repeating declarations such as “I am fully accepted and chosen” reminds me of my inherent value beyond past hurts. Prayer plays a crucial role in breaking the hold of negative experiences. By consciously renouncing lies and traumatic memories that foster rejection, I experience a liberation from self-hate and insecurity. This spiritual warfare is not just about fighting external forces but transforming inner beliefs that no longer serve me. In practical terms, creating a routine that combines reflective prayer, journaling about emotions, and grounding myself in faith offers a steady path of healing. Spiritual groups or communities that support such growth can amplify the effect, providing encouragement and shared experiences. Remember, breaking chains from abandonment wounds doesn't happen overnight, but with persistence in prayer and self-compassion, freedom and emotional restoration are within reach.
