From personal experience, I have found that when I seek God before making decisions or facing challenges, everything seems to align more naturally. It’s not about having God as a backup plan but allowing Him to guide your path firmly from the start. One key lesson I’ve learned is the power of consistency in spiritual practice. Rather than turning to God only in times of crisis, daily devotion and prayer build a foundation of trust and understanding. This daily dependence shapes your perspective, helping you to embrace both the joys and trials of life with faith and resilience. Reflecting on scriptures like James 4:8, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you,” I realized that intimacy with God flourishes in quiet, deliberate moments—not just emergency prayers. This relationship brings peace before storms come, not just comfort in the midst of them. Moreover, trusting God’s timing rather than forcing outcomes encourages patience and spiritual growth. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts for direction. When we lead with God first, priorities realign, from work and relationships to personal goals, ensuring that our hearts remain focused on what truly matters. Incorporating this mindset into daily life has helped me let go of anxiety about the future and find joy in God’s presence every day. By making God your priority now—not last—you build a stable faith that supports you through life’s uncertainties and invites deeper peace, wisdom, and purpose.
