Building emotional walls is something many of us do, often without fully realizing it. From my own experience, these walls start as a protective shield when we’ve been hurt or feel vulnerable. Using creative outlets such as photography and editing apps like CapCut, I found ways to express my emotions indirectly. Capturing moments that symbolized strength or fragility helped me process my inner world without words. This creative process became a form of therapy, enabling me to slowly dismantle some of these walls. Ultimately, my journey taught me that while emotional walls offer temporary safety, true healing comes from balancing self-protection with openness. By acknowledging this, we can create healthier relationships with ourselves and others, turning walls into bridges of understanding.
