Seriously, it was one of the highlights of my entire study abroad adventure, and I’m still dreaming about it! Beyond just grabbing a treat, I highly recommend diving into their chocolate workshop. It's not just a class; it's an immersive, hands-on experience that lets you become a chocolatier for a bit. Imagine walking into a place that smells heavenly, with vibrant red decor and shelves packed with every chocolate creation you can imagine. The vibe itself, as the OCR noted, is incredibly cute and welcoming – perfect for a fun afternoon. During the workshop, you get to learn about Swiss chocolate-making (it's more intricate than you think!) and then unleash your creativity. They provide you with delicious melted Swiss chocolate – milk, dark, and white – and a fantastic array of toppings. I had so much fun experimenting with different nuts, dried fruits, sprinkles, and even some exotic spices to make my own unique chocolate bars. It’s surprisingly therapeutic, and the best part is, you get to take all your creations home! It's a perfect souvenir that you made yourself. But the Funky Chocolate Club isn't just about the workshop. If you're just passing by, you absolutely have to try their famous chocolate-covered strawberries. Fresh, juicy strawberries generously coated in rich, melted chocolate – trust me, they’re a taste sensation and totally hit the spot after a day of exploring. I grabbed a cup of these (with a cute little Swiss flag pick!) and enjoyed them while wandering through Interlaken's charming streets. Their cafe also serves up some amazing hot chocolate if you need to warm up after adventuring in the snow, like my friends and I did. A quick tip for the workshop: it’s super popular, so try to book in advance, especially if you’re traveling during peak season or with a group. It’s located right in the heart of Interlaken, making it easy to fit into your itinerary. Whether you're a chocolate connoisseur or just looking for a unique and delicious activity, the Funky Chocolate Club truly offers an unforgettable experience. It's a sweet escape that perfectly captures the magic of Switzerland, and it’s something I’d do again in a heartbeat!
