From my personal experience, embracing these changes with mindfulness and self-care has been key to maintaining vitality and emotional balance. In addition to the wellness habits mentioned—yoga, walking, and gardening—I found that practicing acceptance plays a crucial role. Hormonal fluctuations can bring moments of vulnerability and emotional waves, but rather than resisting these feelings, accepting them allows for growth and self-awareness. Yoga not only relaxes the mind and body but also helps in regulating stress hormones, making it easier to cope with mood swings. Walking outdoors connects me with nature’s calming presence, helping lower anxiety and boost overall wellbeing. Gardening adds a sensory experience; the vibrant colours and quiet surroundings foster mental peace and a sense of accomplishment. What transformed my journey was learning to meet hormonal changes with grace and courage. Instead of viewing symptoms as weaknesses, I now see them as signals from my body inviting me to slow down and nurture myself. This mindset shift, combined with consistent wellness practices, helped me evolve through this phase, enhancing both my physical and emotional vitality.
