Movement shifted from a chore to an act of self-respect through yoga and low-pressure body awareness days. Balancing active periods with purposeful rest like afternoon naps and mindful showers created a rhythm that felt natural and supportive. Even indulgences such as lighting candles or slowing down scrolling on devices were intentional acts to nurture well-being. Treating discipline as a form of self-love, rather than punishment, fundamentally changed my mindset and my body's responsiveness. I learned to listen to my body's wisdom and respect its limits while celebrating quiet progress. This approach helped me stay loyal to my personal growth and truly enjoy the journey toward my summer bod goals.
