Glutes and Quads @IronOlympustx wearing @Breathedivinity dropping April 23 DC LESI #fyp #gymtok #gymgirl #breathedivinity #gym
From my experience focusing on targeted glutes and quads workouts, incorporating a variety of exercises like leg extensions, hip thrusts, goblet squats, and Bulgarian split squats really helped me achieve balanced strength and muscle definition. Drop sets, such as performing two back-to-back sets with decreased weight, challenge the muscles further and promote endurance and hypertrophy. I typically start with leg extensions to isolate the quads, performing 3 sets with controlled movements to feel the muscle engage. Then, moving to hip thrusts emphasizes the glutes, which are key for hip stability and power. Goblet squats help improve core stability while also working both quads and glutes effectively, especially when focusing on depth and form. Bulgarian split squats are my favorite unilateral exercise to correct imbalances and add intensity. Combining these with drop sets makes the final reps feel challenging but rewarding. Consistency with proper form and progressive overload are essential; using accessories like supportive gear from Breathe Divinity adds comfort and confidence during heavy sessions. Overall, mixing compound movements with isolation exercises and employing training techniques such as drop sets can lead to substantial gains in glutes and quads strength, improving both athletic performance and aesthetic goals.
