Humility lessons can be some of the hardest!

Hey family!! I pray you’re doing well tonight! ✨ As I spent some time with the Lord, He really put a reminder on my heart about HUMILITY✋🏽. LESSONS✍🏽 in HUMILITY can be some of the hardest ones to learn. Trust me, you’d rather HUMBLE YOURSELF before the Lord ✋🏽 than have Him HUMBLE YOU. Because when GOD has to step in, it can be a little more PAINFUL💔 than if we had just LISTENED the first time.
In our culture today, it’s so EASY✨ to think we have to "SHOW OUT" to prove we’re BLESSED🙌🏽, ANOINTED🛐, or SUCCESSFUL🏆. But the truth is, GOD sees the HEART❤️. It's okay to be CONFIDENT✨, but when CONFIDENCE crosses over into ARROGANCE👑, even when we’re “giving glory” with our mouths👄, GOD knows when our HEARTS❤️ are chasing SELF over HIM.
Sometimes, our bad ATTITUDES😒, prideful words 🗣️, or need for attention👀 can AFFECT others negatively and even lead them away from true HUMILITY. If we’re not careful, we can TEACH arrogance without even meaning to. That’s why God, in His LOVE❤️, will correct us. He’ll ALLOW situations⛈️ that humble us—not because He’s mad, but because He LOVES US too much to let pride grow unchecked.
Tonight, let's ask God to help us WALK🚶🏽♂️ in true HUMILITY. Better to CHOOSE it than be FORCED into it later.
