Hey y’all 🤎 I’ve been thinking deeply tonight about something the Holy Spirit keeps highlighting in my heart: COMPASSION.💧 The Bible is clear that COMPASSION isn’t just a FEELING—it’s a CHOICE and an ACTION that reflects the HEART💓 of Jesus. But lately, I’ve noticed a rise in COLDNESS, even among those who say they follow Christ. 😔
We can’t say we LOVE🫶🏽 God and then overlook the suffering of others. We can't shout “HALLELUJAH”🙌🏽 on Sunday and then harden our hearts toward our neighbor on Monday. 🤷🏽♀️ COMPASSION means slowing down🛑, leaning in👂🏽, and letting the Holy Spirit move us to ACT—whether that’s encouraging someone🗣️, helping financially💸, or simply offering a prayer🙏🏽 or listening ear👂🏽.
JESUS moved with COMPASSION when He healed the sick 🩹, fed the hungry 🍞🐟, and welcomed the outcast 🫂. If we call ourselves HIS, then COMPASSION should be part of our everyday LIFESTYLE💠, not just a momentary EMOTION.
This world is hurting💔, and God is looking for vessels He can work THROUGH. Will you say YES to being His hands👐🏽 and feet👣? Let’s be SENSITIVE👁️🗨️ to His Spirit and ready to extend His LOVE—because that’s what real COMPASSION looks like. ❤️🔥
