The First Fifteen: Grow Closer To God

✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙

Hey family 👋🏾💛 I pray your evening is peaceful and full of REST 🙏🏾✨ You know, as BELIEVERS, no matter how long we’ve walked with Jesus, we’re always GROWING 🌿. None of us ever “arrive” — we just keep becoming more like Him day by day 💪🏾🔥. But let’s be honest, sometimes we want to get CLOSER to GOD but don’t know how. We think we need to overhaul everything or wait for a spiritual breakthrough, when in reality, growth begins with CONSISTENCY 🌅.

My pastor once said something that really stuck with me—it’s called “The First 15.” It’s a way to start your day by giving the first 15 minutes to the LORD:

5 minutes in WORSHIP 🙌🏾,

5 minutes in the WORD 📖,

5 minutes in PRAYER 🙏🏾.

That’s it—15 minutes to set your HEART on JESUS before the world sets its hands on you 💫. It may sound simple, but developing that DISCIPLINE is POWERFUL 💥. Before you scroll 📱, sip ☕, or stress 😩, start with the SAVIOR 🕊️.

Because when we give GOD our FIRST, He blesses the REST 🌞💖.
