Don’t Ask Him To Bless What He Didn’t Author!
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Good evening, family 🌙🤍🙏🏾. This time of year has everyone MOVING 🏃🏾♀️, PLANNING 📋, and DECLARING change 🎯. But here’s the truth—most plans fail not because people don’t TRY 😮💨, but because God was never INVITED 🕊️.
I used to map everything out 🗺️, start EXECUTING 💼, and then say, “Lord, bless this” 🙏🏾. But God gently showed me—BLESSING follows OBEDIENCE 🚶🏾♀️, not ambition. When you SEEK HIM FIRST 👑, He doesn’t just bless your plans—He REWRITES them ✍🏾✨ for your GOOD 🌿.
Inviting God into your plans means asking, “What is YOUR WILL?” ❤️ before asking, “Will this WORK?” 🤔. When you walk closely with Him 🤍👣, He speaks through PEACE 🕊️, conviction 🔥, and timely REDIRECTION 🚦. And if hearing Him feels UNCLEAR right now 😔, that’s not condemnation—that’s INVITATION 🕊️ to deeper INTIMACY 🤍.
This season matters 🌱. Your decisions matter 🧭. Your time matters ⏳. If you don’t want to WASTE TIME 🛑 or chase DEAD ENDS 🚫, you HAVE to know the VOICE of the Father 🎶. Pray for CLARITY 🔊. Pray for SENSITIVITY 👂🏾. Pray for ALIGNMENT 🔗.
Let’s stop asking God to bless OUR ideas and start MOVING in HIS DIRECTION 🧭. That’s where TRUE SUCCESS lives 🌿.

In my own journey, I've learned how crucial it is to truly invite God into every important decision. There was a time I would eagerly create detailed plans and rush to act on them, only to wonder why progress felt stalled or the results were disappointing. It wasn't until I started seriously asking, “Lord, what is Your will for me?” that everything began to shift. This simple but profound prayer brought a sense of peace and clarity that helped me distinguish between what was merely my ambition and what was aligned with a higher purpose. One helpful practice has been to pause and pray before making any major choice, no matter how big or small. This allows space for spiritual alignment and often leads me to unexpected and better outcomes than I initially imagined. I've also recognized the value of listening for God’s voice in quiet moments — through scripture, wise counsel, or even through feelings of peace versus unrest. The phrase from the image, "Lord, I'm inviting You into this moment and this decision... what is YOUR WILL for me?" resonates deeply because it reminds us that God's authorship in our lives matters more than our own plans. Blessing a plan that God did not author can lead to frustration or dead ends. However, when we seek His direction first, our ambitions are transformed and our steps ordered. If you find it hard to hear God clearly, don’t be discouraged. This is not about judgment but an invitation to build a closer relationship with Him. Trust that as you seek Him earnestly, the Spirit will guide your sensitivity and alignment with His will. As the article suggests, this season of life is significant — your decisions, your time, your efforts. Praying for clarity, sensitivity, and alignment invites divine intervention and rewrites your story for the good. Stopping the habit of asking God to bless what He didn’t create, and instead walking in obedience and intimate relationship with Him, opens the door to true success and fulfillment that goes beyond human understanding.
