Keep Your Eyes On The Lord!
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Good evening my blessed family 🌙🙏🏾✨
Today, while sitting at a red light 🚦, I saw a young man in a batting cage ⚾ struggling to hit the ball 😩 He kept LOOKING AWAY 👀… distracted by everything around him 🌍 But his coach reminded him 👉🏾👀➡️⚾… FOCUS 🎯
The moment he did… everything SHIFTED 🔄 He started HITTING consistently 💥⚾💥
And the Holy Spirit said… “That’s what happens when MY PEOPLE KEEP THEIR EYES ON JESUS” ✝️💛
What you LOOK AT 👀 determines how you LIVE 🙌🏾 If your eyes are on PROBLEMS 😟… you’ll feel overwhelmed 😩 If your eyes are on PEOPLE 🗣️… you’ll feel pressured 😬
But if your eyes are on JESUS ✝️… you’ll walk in PEACE 🕊️, POWER 💪🏾, and PURPOSE 🎯
Don ’t let DISTRACTIONS steal your FOCUS 🚫 Stay FIXED 👀 Stay ROOTED 🌱 Stay STEADY 🙏🏾
Because when your EYES are RIGHT 👀… your LIFE will FOLLOW 💯
🕊️Scriptures to Meditate On🙏🏾

Reflecting on the powerful analogy of the young man struggling in the batting cage, I’ve found that the principle of keeping focused isn’t just for sports but deeply relevant to everyday spiritual life. Distractions come in many forms—stress, social pressures, or personal challenges—but the key to overcoming these lies in where we choose to fix our gaze. When we keep our eyes on Jesus, much like the coach reminded the batter to focus on the ball, we align with a divine source of strength and clarity. In my own experience, moments of uncertainty became more manageable when I committed to daily meditation on scriptures such as Proverbs 4:25 (“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you”) and Hebrews 3:1 (“Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus”). These verses serve as anchors that redirect the mind from wandering into fear or distraction. One practical way I maintain this spiritual alignment is by beginning my day with prayers focused on purpose and peace, helping me stay rooted despite external pressures. I also limit exposure to overwhelming news or social media, which can easily shift focus away from God’s promises. Staying rooted in faith doesn’t mean ignoring life’s difficulties; it means approaching them with the calm assurance that comes from spiritual power. Just like the batter who only began hitting consistently when he kept his eyes on the ball, I’ve noticed that challenges become opportunities for growth when I keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. This focus invites peace amidst chaos and fuels determination to pursue a meaningful life. Ultimately, the transformation happens when distractions no longer dictate our mindset—when the Spirit fills us with peace and purpose, shining light in the night. Keeping our spiritual eyes aligned with Jesus brings an unshakable foundation, empowering us to walk confidently through life’s ups and downs.
