Healthy Fear
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Good evening family 🌙💛 Tonight the Lord had me sitting with this word: FEAR 😮💨🙏🏽. This morning we talked about the FEAR OF MAN, and how giving too much weight to what people think can become a TRAP 🪤😔. God never designed us to live like that — He called us FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY MADE 💪🏾✨ (Psalm 139:14). But tonight, He shifted my heart toward the FEAR OF THE LORD — that HOLY REVERENCE 🙌🏽🔥 that shapes how we live, speak, and honor Him.
When you truly LOVE someone, there are just certain things you won’t do because you don’t want to DISHONOR them ❤️🔥🙅🏽♀️. And looking around today, even in our churches ⛪😔, it’s clear many believers have lost that AWE, that RESPECT, that deep REVERENCE for our Father.
So tonight, ask the HOLY SPIRIT to shine light into every corner of your life 💡🕊️. Are your WORDS, THOUGHTS, and ACTIONS reflecting HONOR? Let’s walk in a HEALTHY FEAR that pleases God and keeps our hearts aligned with Him 🙏🏾🔥.
🕊️Scriptures to Meditate On🙏🏾

In my personal journey, embracing the 'fear of the Lord' has been transformative in balancing my perspective on fear. Unlike the fear of man that often causes worry about others' opinions, the fear of the Lord inspires a deep respect and awe that encourages me to live a more intentional and honorable life. This holy reverence isn't about being afraid in a paralyzing way but about understanding the greatness of God and responding with love and obedience. One practical way I cultivate this healthy fear is through daily meditation on Scriptures like Proverbs 1:7, which reminds me that 'The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.' This verse helps me prioritize God’s guidance over societal pressures. Similarly, Psalm 34:9 invites us to 'Taste and see that the Lord is good,' which strengthens my faith and trust. In everyday life, this translates to checking in with myself—Are my words, thoughts, and actions honoring God? When I catch myself slipping into fear of judgment or criticism from others, I redirect my focus toward what God desires. This shift has helped me avoid the trap of people-pleasing and live more authentically. The concept of being 'fearfully and wonderfully made' (Psalm 139:14) reminds me that I am valued and designed by God. This knowledge empowers me to face challenges without anxiety, knowing that healthy fear fosters respect and awe, not dread or despair. Sharing these reflections with friends and community has been rewarding, as many of us strive to regain that reverence so often lost even in faith spaces. Ultimately, embracing a healthy fear of the Lord shapes a life aligned with divine purpose and fills the heart with peace and strength.
