Playing through Sims 4 Discover University with my Sim, Taylor Irving IV, who's in his sophomore year pursuing an Economics degree and maintaining an impressive A- GPA, has given me so many insights into making the most of uni life and ensuring a successful graduation! It’s not just about enrolling; it’s about strategic play to get that well-deserved diploma. How to Graduate Successfully from Sims 4 University Based on my experience, the key to graduating from Sims 4 University isn't just attending classes – it's a combination of dedication and good time management. My Sim, Taylor, works hard, and here’s what I've learned makes a big difference: Attend All Classes & Lectures: This might sound obvious, but it's crucial. Missing classes seriously impacts performance. I always make sure Taylor is there on time. Complete Homework & Term Papers: These are vital for boosting your grade. Dedicate time each day to getting them done. For term papers and presentations, start early! They often require research and multiple drafts. Taylor spends a good chunk of his evenings on these, which really helps his A- GPA. Build Skills: Many degrees, including Economics like Taylor's, benefit from specific skills. For example, Logic and Research & Debate are often useful across the board. The higher your relevant skills, the better your assignment and exam performance. Manage Your Workload: Don't overload your Sim with too many classes if they struggle. Sometimes taking a lighter course load allows for better performance in each class. It’s better to take an extra term than to fail out. Use Office Hours: If a class is particularly tough, visiting the professor during office hours can sometimes give a slight boost to performance or clarify assignments. Following these steps consistently will help any Sim, whether they're a sophomore like Taylor or just starting, reach that exciting graduation day! Exploring the Sims 4 Biology Degree While Taylor is focused on Economics, I've also had Sims pursue other paths, and the Biology degree is a fascinating one! Unlike Economics, which leans heavily into Logic and Charisma, a Biology degree often requires a strong foundation in Logic, Research & Debate, and sometimes even Wellness or Fitness for specific career paths. Sims pursuing Biology can look forward to careers in fields like Marine Biology, Doctor, or even Conservationist. The coursework often involves lab work, dissecting specimens, and lots of scientific research. It's a great choice for Sims who love nature and scientific discovery, offering unique interactions and projects compared to the more business-oriented Economics degree. Earning Bronze Level 3 Times from Attending Hobby Classes This is a fun way to build skills and meet new Sims at university! To earn a bronze level three times from attending hobby classes, you first need to identify what counts as a 'hobby class'. These aren't typically part of your academic course load but are skill-building sessions. You can often find them on community boards, through university organizations, or sometimes even offered as one-off events. Here’s how I tackle this for my Sims: Find a Class: Look for classes like 'Painting Workshop,' 'Photography Basics,' 'Yoga Sessions,' or 'Cooking Fundamentals.' These often pop up around the university campus or in the local towns. Attend & Participate: Simply showing up isn't enough. Make sure your Sim actively participates in the class. For example, if it's a painting class, have them paint. If it's yoga, have them follow the instructor's poses. The goal is to gain some skill points during the session. Achieve Bronze: A 'bronze' level usually signifies successful participation and some skill gain within that specific session. You’ll get a notification when your Sim achieves it for that class. Repeat Three Times: Simply enroll and attend three separate hobby classes successfully. They don't have to be the same class; any three distinct successful participations in hobby classes will count. It's a great way to diversify your Sim's skills outside of their main degree, much like Taylor's dedication to his studies, but in a more relaxed, creative setting.
