CC Free Bar Style Table in The Sims 4✨

I was shopping around Pinterest for some inspiration and came across some bar tables and since they looked pretty easy to recreate I accepted the challenge. I only needed two pieces to make the actual bar table. Shelves and an end piece. Let me know in the comments what’s your thoughts. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I’ll answer as soon as possible. Like always, Happy Simming 😁🫶🏾✨ #TheSims4 #sims4tutorial #sims4content #letsplaymoni #lemon8gaming

... Read moreI know many of us Simmers are always on the hunt for amazing functional CC, especially for something as central as a bar! But sometimes, relying purely on custom content can lead to broken mods after updates or even game lag. That's why I absolutely adore finding clever ways to create functional items using only base game or expansion pack items, just like this CC-free bar table! Not only does it save you the hassle of managing CC, but it also guarantees stability in your game, letting you focus on the fun part: playing! When I first learned about this trick, using simple wall shelves and shelf units combined with bar counters, I was blown away by how effective it was. The key to making it truly functional, beyond just looking good, is ensuring your Sims can actually interact with it. Make sure you leave enough space for your Sims to pull out their bar stools and sit comfortably. Sometimes, I find myself fiddling with the placement of the counters and shelves to get the perfect routing. A good rule of thumb is to check if the “footprint” of the bar stools isn't blocked by the shelf units underneath. My Sims love to grab a drink, socialize, and even eat quick meals at these bar setups – it really brings the space to life! Beyond the build itself, decorating your new functional bar is where the magic happens. Think about the vibe you're going for! For a modern look, I might add some sleek overhead lighting and minimalistic bar accessories. If I'm aiming for something cozier, maybe some potted plants on the shelves, decorative bottles, and a warm, inviting rug. I often look at real-life inspiration photos (just like the one that sparked my own bar table idea!) to get ideas for color schemes, textures, and even what kind of clutter to add. Don't forget to use the 'bb.moveobjects on' cheat to place smaller items like cocktail shakers, fruit bowls, or even tiny decorative lights directly on your shelves or the bar counters for that extra touch of realism. Consider the location of your bar too. A smaller, more intimate bar might fit perfectly as an extension of a kitchen island, while a grander setup could be the centerpiece of a dedicated entertainment room or basement. I’ve even built outdoor patio bars using this method, which are perfect for summer parties in Oasis Springs! Another tip is to play around with different bar counter styles and colors available in the game to match your overall decor. You're not limited to one look; you can easily swap out the counter colors or shelf materials to fit any theme you're building. Sometimes, you might encounter little hiccups, like Sims struggling to reach a specific spot. Don't fret! Often, slightly adjusting the height of your shelves or the position of your stools can solve these routing issues. Remember, precision is key when using the Alt key to fine-tune placements. Building CC-free means you have full control and can troubleshoot easily without worrying about outdated mods. It’s a super rewarding process, and watching your Sims enjoy the space you’ve meticulously crafted is truly the best part!
