This series was so good, I like the growth I've seen in Capri. I like that she took the time she needed to find herself and realized who she was. Like that, Quameer, aka Meer Cat, didn’t try to stop her from leaving; he knew that was what she needed to do, and he was her big cheerleader. The friendship between Quameer and Capri, I love it. I like how he was there for Capri; he didn't care about dating her because he knew she wasn't ready. All he cared about was the friendship and protecting her. But babeee, when he did get her, nobody could tell him shit about his Suga, and nobody better not hurt her any way.
Carleone finding out he was adopted before his adoptive mother passed was crazy. Jean had her reasons for giving him up, and I understand, but I think she could have kept in contact. But the way Capri, Capo, and Capp had accepted him when everything came out was heartwarming. One thing I can say about the Delgado family, once you're family, they don’t play about you, period. The way Jean treated Capri was messed up when Capri finally stood up to her. I was like, "You go, girl," and I liked how Meer had her back. Jean treated the boys like a prince, but treated her daughter like shit, smh, the same way her mother treated her.
I'm glad Aimee spoke up and made Jean realize why she was that way with Capri. Capo even went in on his mother because she was deadass wrong, and they let it go on, so long I felt like he felt guilty for not having her back before. But I'm glad Jean realized what she had done to Capri and apologized. Naheim’s outburst about Capri’s abortion was dead wrong. Nobody knew what she did. But I don't blame Capri; she did what was best for her. And I like when Meer handles Naheim cause that was some wack ass shit he did. He really thought Capri didn't want kids. You thought wrong. AMIEE had pissed me off like a girl!! Why not tell Capella what was going on? She almost got her son killed for that shit she was doing. Khalil was blackmailing her. She should know how Capella is about now; he loves her. She had everybody mad at her. She already knows how the Delgatos are coming behind her. Then it came out that she had an adoration Capella snap. He put his hands on Amiee. That chapter was crazy. Capella said some messed-up thing to his father, Capp, and they stopped talking for a minute. Capella started drinking heavily and messing with Shant. He really irks my nerves in this book. That situation got messy. I'm glad Amiee and Capella split up because both need to work on themselves. Aimee is getting her confidence back, starting to find herself. She and Capella are co-parenting, and Amiee put Shante in her place because she had been saying slick stuff to Amiee. A lot happened with Aimee and Capella, but they are working on getting back together. We will see, though.
BRANDI is a hot mess. Quameer's babymother, Brandi, has always been jealous of Capri since college, so when she found out that Meer and Capri are togather, she says little slick shit, but I like Meer putting her in her place. Brandi had some stuff going on, child stuff started coming to the light 💡 HUNTY!! Secrets came out about her marriage and about her husband, smh. Boy, Brandi's father made her lose out on a good man, Quameer.
I love seeing Quameer with his daughter Ryder, it’s so cute, and how Ryder got attached to Capri, I like it when she called her Suga just like her dad. Ryder is really intelligent, her little cute self.
Quameer is so funny, and this book is too. Quasim and Blair want to see them togather so bad, but Quasim gotta let her in, though. Blair is really feeling Quasim, but Tookie is not ready to let her go, so when he gets out, he's coming for her. I know the book is going to be good. Jessie got what she deserved. I don’t feel bad. I don’t see how Capri thought they were friends. She was so selfish and had daddy issues. Morgan didn’t even calm her, and she was doing all this for his attention. Morgan, that nasty man, had a fetish for black women. He wanted Capri so bad that he was so dumb, he didn't know Capri was working to take him down. Morgan was a nasty, evil man who got what he deserved for messing with the Delgato and Infernos. TASHA, this bxtch, she doesn’t learn her lesson, girl, the only thing you had to do is wait for forty to get back at you smh she got what she deserves, it's about time cause she keeps getting off easily she really thought The Chrome Vipers’ was going to handle shit. Jeffie, Skyler, and Corleone, I want to see how this poly thing is going to go. Corleone seems like he can handle both of them, and he really cares about both of them. It seems like Skyler's baby daddy is gonna cause some problems, Corleone gotta handle him. Goon and Miss Lawyer lol Zoya I gotta read their book Zoya can act like she ain't feeling Goon, but he's wearing her down she feeling him a lot Goon ass is funny. Goon was leaving the country, and all Goon didn't give a fuck; he didn't play about his people. Meer and Capri made Goon the godfather of the baby; he couldn’t believe it. I can’t wait to read the book or read more about them in other people's books. This series had a lot happen; it didn't disappoint. Capri got her happy after with Meer Cat❤️
