Even when it feels ordinary...
Sometimes, obedience in our faith journey can feel repetitive or unremarkable, especially when the results are not immediately visible. However, through personal experience, I've found that these ordinary moments of consistency are foundational to spiritual growth. When obedience feels boring, it often means we are in a phase of quiet transformation, where our faith is being refined and strengthened. Like the phrase says, "consistency reveals Your glory too, Lord," it's in the daily acts of faithfulness—small prayers, acts of kindness, routine worship—that we truly experience God's presence. These simple obedience moments are opportunities to trust Him more deeply, even when life feels mundane or the outcomes are hidden. Embracing the faith in the small things teaches patience and perseverance. It can be helpful to remember that many Biblical examples show that great spiritual breakthroughs often come after seasons of faithful endurance. This perspective turns ordinary days into sacred opportunities and helps to sustain commitment when enthusiasm wanes. In sharing this, I encourage others to see beyond the surface of their daily routines and recognize the spiritual value in consistent obedience. When it feels ordinary, it’s actually laying the groundwork for God's glory to be revealed in due time. Holding on to this truth makes walking in faith a rewarding and hopeful journey, even in the quietest moments.
