St Paddy’s Lucky Charm Treats
4 tbsp salted butter
1- 10 oz bag of mini marshmallows
6-7 cups Lucky Charms: Leprechaun Trap
1/3 cup rainbow sprinkles
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Green chocolate for drizzle
Extra sprinkles- rainbow and shamrock
In a large pot, melt the marshmallows and butter over medium-low heat. Be sure to stir them often so that the marshmallows don’t burn.
Once melted, remove the pot from the heat and stir in the Lucky Charms until they’re evenly coated.
Lastly, fold in the sprinkles and then the white chocolate chips just until they’re mixed throughout the cereal.
Press the mixture into a 13 x 9 pan sprayed with baking spray. You can also use parchment paper + cooking spray if you want to be sure they don’t stick. I lightly press down on them with a fondant smoother.
Let the treats cool a bit and then drizzle them with green chocolate and then add sprinkles. Allow them to cool completely and then cut into rectangles.

St. Patrick's Day is such a fun holiday, and what better way to celebrate than with some festive, easy-to-make treats? These Lucky Charms marshmallow bars are always a huge hit, especially with the little ones! I've found that involving kids in the kitchen makes the holiday even more special, and this recipe is perfect for tiny hands to help with stirring (once the heat is off!) or pressing the mixture into the pan. It’s not just about the delicious outcome; it’s about creating those cherished holiday memories together. Beyond these magical Lucky Charms treats, there are so many other simple St. Patrick's Day snack ideas that can add a splash of green to your celebration. For quick and easy green recipes, I often turn to fruit. Think green grapes, kiwi slices, or even a simple fruit salad with a hint of green food coloring in whipped cream. Shamrock-shaped cucumber sandwiches (using a cookie cutter!) are always a hit for appetizers, or you can make green popcorn by adding a few drops of food coloring to melted butter before tossing it with popcorn. These types of snacks are fantastic for kids' parties or just a fun afternoon treat. When planning a St. Patrick's Day party menu, I always try to include a mix of sweet and savory. These Lucky Charms treats fit perfectly into the dessert category, offering a vibrant, playful option. For more traditional desserts, you could consider mint chocolate chip cookies or a simple lime Jell-O mold. For appetizers, green deviled eggs or a spinach dip served in a hollowed-out pumpernickel bread bowl are always crowd-pleasers. Don't forget the presentation! A sprinkle of extra rainbow sprinkles or shamrock cutouts on your serving platter can really elevate even the simplest snacks, making them feel extra special for ST PADDY'S DAY. What I love most about marshmallow treats is how adaptable they are. While Lucky Charms are perfect for St. Patrick's Day, you can easily swap in other cereals or mix-ins for different holidays or themes. The basic formula of melted butter and marshmallows provides a wonderful, chewy base. These treats are fantastic for packing into lunchboxes as a surprise, or for sharing with friends at school or work. They’re truly a versatile and beloved classic that brings smiles all around. So go ahead, get creative, and enjoy making some delicious Lucky Charms Treats this holiday season!
