girl get up and study! 🙇🏾‍♀️💻☕️💫

2025/1/23 Edited to

... Read moreHey everyone! I totally get it – sometimes getting up and actually starting to study feels like the hardest part, right? We all have those moments where the finish line seems so far away. But I've learned a few things over my own study journey that have really helped me stay motivated and build routines that actually stick. It’s not just about grinding, it’s about making studying a sustainable part of your life until you hit those big goals, like getting your degree or even tackling advanced certifications like ACLS. One of the biggest game-changers for me has been creating a dedicated 'study zone.' It doesn't have to be a fancy desk; sometimes it's just a specific corner of my room with good lighting and no distractions. When I sit there, my brain automatically switches into 'study mode.' My study motivation really picks up when I have a clear space. I also make sure to have all my essentials ready – my notes, a fresh cup of coffee, and maybe some calming instrumental music. This preps my mind, signaling that the 'Count Down Begins In' a productive session. Then, let’s talk about routines. The queries about daily routines and incorporating 'soothing tools' really hit home for me. It’s easy to think we need to be stressed to be effective, but that's a myth! I found that incorporating small, soothing rituals into my study schedule makes a huge difference. For instance, after an intense hour of reviewing ADVANCED CARDIOVASCULAR LIFE SUPPORT concepts, I might take a five-minute break to do some deep breathing, stretch, or just step outside for some fresh air. These aren't just 'breaks'; they're integral 'soothing tools' that help me reset and prevent burnout. Instead of relying on remembering them without prompts, I literally put reminders in my calendar or use sticky notes in my study area. This way, they become a consistent part of my daily routine, not just something I do when I'm overwhelmed. Another tip for a productive routine, especially for us girls, is to find your 'peak' study times. Are you a morning person who thrives on tackling complex topics before lunch? Or do you focus better in the evening? Once you identify that, structure your most demanding tasks around those hours. For lighter tasks, like reviewing flashcards or organizing notes, I use my less energetic times. This way, I'm always working efficiently with my natural energy cycles. And for anyone out there deep into specialized studies, like preparing for ACLS or other intense exams, it can feel incredibly isolating. My advice? Break it down. Instead of looking at the massive textbook, focus on mastering one chapter or one system at a time. Celebrate those small wins! Seeing your progress, even in tiny increments, fuels your motivation. Remember, the goal isn't just to pass; it's to truly understand and apply complex LIFE SUPPORT principles. That deeper understanding comes from consistent, deliberate practice, not just cramming. Finally, remember the original message: 'relax after you get your degree bookie. you’re so close to the finish line.' Keep that end goal in sight. Visualize yourself achieving it. Whether it's a degree, a certification, or mastering a new skill, that vision is a powerful motivator. You’ve got this! Let's keep pushing, one productive study session at a time.
