... Read moreAs someone who loves oversharing on the internet, I've found that being open about personal topics can be surprisingly freeing and even therapeutic. For example, my experiences with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) have often been a source of uncomfortable moments but also unexpected humor. Sharing these stories online has allowed me to connect with others facing similar challenges, creating a supportive community where taboo topics become easier to talk about. In my journey, I've learned that humor is a great way to cope with the unpredictability of IBS. From sudden urgent situations to the awkwardness of explaining symptoms to friends and family, turning these moments into funny anecdotes helps reduce stress and embarrassment. Oversharing doesn't mean oversharing everything to everyone, but rather finding spaces where honesty is welcomed and valued. If you're dealing with IBS or any other hidden condition, don't be afraid to share your story. Not only can it lighten your own mental load, but it can also inspire others to open up and find humor in their struggles. After all, we're all human, and stories—especially the honest and funny ones—remind us we're not alone. Overall, embracing oversharing as a form of self-expression has enriched my life in unexpected ways. It’s a reminder that vulnerability can create genuine connections and that even the most awkward or embarrassing moments can become a source of shared laughter and understanding.

WHY I LOVE OVERSHARING
TMI does not exist in my world. We are all humans with the same bodily functions, we all go through rough patches, many of us traumatic events, and we all have embarrassing moments and weird tendencies and urges. I love when people can immediately feel comfortable with me and I want them to know
