This book was.. heart palpitation inducing.
I had a hard time with the main character, Laurel Mack at first. Then the book went on and I began to understand her more.
Lisa Jewell does a fantastic job of writing an antagonist character. When we see into the mind of them, you truly feel so much resentment and anger. Itās amazing that (Jewell) was able to invoke such emotion!
The amount of twists and turns this story takes us down, will leave you dizzy and confused at times. But know that it ALL comes together in the end. I really enjoyed this book and I canāt recommend this enough. You will be shocked!!
