When I was 21 I was going through a lot & I moved to North Carolina from Indiana to live with my best friend. I needed to get sober and get my life together. She was the only person I would listen to. I had a lot of fun in NC and did a lot of growing up. I came back to Indiana for Christmas and made the last minute decision to stay home and not go back. I eventually found a job and got my life back together again, got a car, but at that job I met my future mother in law. We would hang out and she told me about her oldest son. One night after work he drove to Indy to meet me and I thought he was so handsome. He was quiet, tall, and just everything I wasn’t used to. Then we started texting and the following weekend it was official! I met my soulmate when I was 22. It was a whirlwind but here we are married for 12 years and have a daughter. If I would have gone back to North Carolina who knows if we would have met so soon? Maybe I would have wasted time with some guy I wasn’t meant to be with. The butterfly effect is real. ♥️ #soulmate #lovestory #loveofmylife🫶🏾
