2024 vs. 2025

Last October, I joined my two best friends on the Winter Arc Challenge to get into the best shapes of our lives. Their motivation was that they were getting married in 2025, my motivation was to support them along the way and become a best version of myself before I reach 30 (I’m 29 now).

I’ve always struggled with my weight. Went through all sorts of diets and workout programs. Always ended up giving up within 2 months. So the Winter Arc (October to December) was a new challenge, I’m determined to overcome.

Who knew that would lead to 2-3 workouts a day, 6 days a week 11 months later?! I’m still not at place I want but I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made so far!

✨ 15lbs lost

✨ dropped down from a size M/L to Small

✨ feeling the most confident and strong I’ve ever been

Just a reminder that you can do hard things. Just have to push through. The best workouts will be the ones when you didn’t feel like doing but still did it anyways.

Good luck to everyone on the same journey! ❤️

From personal experience, the Winter Arc Challenge from October through December became a game changer by creating a structured, time-bound goal that fueled determination. What’s impressive about this journey is the significant shift in endurance and motivation that happens with consistency—even when workouts multiply to 2-3 times a day, 6 days a week. To keep improving, consider tracking your progress in detail. The calendar dates seen in the images (numbers like 11, 12, 14, 15, and others mapped over May and other months) suggest keeping a workout log or planner. This habit helps recognize streaks, plan rest days, and gradually increase intensity safely. Losing 15lbs and moving from size M/L to small isn’t just about numbers on a scale or clothes fitting better—it’s about growing confidence and feeling strong inside and out. Maintaining this mindset of pushing through difficult workouts, especially when motivation dips, is critical. Remember, the most rewarding workouts are often the ones you didn't want to do initially. Incorporating small challenges, like joining friends who share similar goals or preparing for a big life event (like a wedding in 2025) creates a supportive environment. This communal aspect, along with self-accountability, drives continuous progress. This story exemplifies that with commitment, even someone who faced repeated setbacks can rewrite their health narrative. Whether you’re 29 or any age, setting clear fitness goals with milestones, tracking progress, and embracing support networks truly make hard things possible. So if you’re on a similar journey, know that consistent effort and believing in your ability to overcome challenges will lead you to your strongest, most confident self.
